Our Pastor


Rev. Curtis Osburn was born on September 25th. 1942 in a small town called Marion Alabama. He was the 7th of 11 children born to William and Lucille Osburn. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Marion and was a member of the Mt. Tabor AME Church. In 1962 he moved to Jamaica, NY, and from there to Hartford,Connecticut.

It was there in Connecticut that Rev. Osburn started preaching the Word of God!Pastor Osburn was a "tent evangelist" and went to different cities preaching the Gospel until 1976 when he moved to Boston, MA. There he became an active and faithful member of Zion Gospel Temple in East Providence, RI.

 He served as a Deacon until 1986 and then became a member of the East Providence Church of God. He became an assistance pastor and served until 1990.

He then founded a little church on Warren Av. called the "East Providence Christian Life Center". In 1994 the name was changed to Samaria Church of God. The Church has sinced moved where it is currently located in Seekonk , MA., where the Lord has mightily blessed and adds to the congregation.

Today, Pastor Osburn is District Overseer of 2 churches:
